Tavi Rochelenge is a multidisciplinary artist who loves pencils, pens, watercolors, other colors, face paint, those bead things that you can melt with an iron into different shapes, and cellos. As seen here, she also enjoys fruits, clown noses, and practical jokes. She has a cat named "Cola Teddy," named after the late & great cocker-poodle "Teddy" who lived in and around the Cerf / Chapman household for many years. She is currently based in Oslo, Norway, where she is in the artist in residence at the home of her parents, Camilla & George.
Her latest masterpiece, shown above, and aptly titled, "Mat og Kristina sendte meg en pin på Google Maps og ba meg tegne et kart over en strand til bryllupsinvitasjonen deres. Ikke noe press, det skal jo bare sendes ut til alle vi kjenner!", made its debut on Mat & Kristina's wedding invitation, which, if you've found this page, I hope you have received.
Tavi will be making an appearance at the Sou'Wester in August, where she will be trading autographs for novel candy varieties, letting her pet your dog, or a good joke told in Norwegian (but it actually has to be a good joke, as she has a discerning palate for humor).
As intimidating as she may appear in this photo, she is actually very nice, so give her a high five in August!
